Winter is the time to start preparing seeds for spring and we need your help to get it all done. Come help us package seeds for distribution—or just listen in—as presenters discusses a different landscape or garden related topic each month.
This month Kaelyb Lokrantz from the Merrill Community Sharing Garden will teach us about composting, cover cropping and other low cost environmentally friendly soil management techniques. He'll also explain wildscaping, tell us what he does to maintain and improve the Merrill Community Sharing Garden in Beloit and talk about the importance of local food webs. A productive garden starts with rich healthy soil!
Attendees will get early access to the seeds we package, including exclusive access to limited quantity seeds! We'll also have 25 seed starting kits to give away so come and learn, help out, and take something home for your own garden.
