Come and take a walk on the wild side here at the library.  Many of the wildflower and native plant seeds we offer in our Little Free Seed Library are harvested right along Eclipse Boulevard bordering our parking lot. In July and August most of these flowers are at their peak bloom.  It's a great time to take in the sights and smells and learn a bit about the prairie origins, history, native medicinal uses and other features of the wide variety on display.  We'll be setting a nice easy pace to examine and talk about what we're seeing.  We'll be guided by an experienced self-taught naturalist Tina Nebergall who has a wealth of knowledge about the ordinary and extraordinary plants we normally zoon right past.  All ages are welcome!

We've set a rain date for the following week in case the weather is unsafe, but a light rain won't be a deterrent.  Dress accordingly and meet us in the library lobby.  We'll set off from there!
