Seed Library Series 2 of 4. People grow herbs for lots of reasons: their flavor, their fragrance, their beauty, their place in a particular cuisine. And in February, that pop of green on the windowsill that promises that winter will end. Our 2025 Seed Library will offer over a dozen different herbs.
Come help us package seeds for distribution—or just listen in—as Rock County Master Gardener Ruth Flescher talks about how you can succeed with herbs no matter what size space you have. She’ll cover the ins and outs of growing all the herbs we’ll offer, from starting them indoors or not, growing in a pot or in the ground, and learning key points for each type of herb along with harvesting tips.
Attendees will get early access to seeds packaged to date, including exclusive access to limited quantity seeds! Those who are new to the series will be able to take home a seed starting kit if they are one of the first 25 registrants. Walk-ins are also welcome.
We'll have a different seed library presentation each month through April with new seed types being discussed, packaged and available pre-release to those attending. Join us for one or come to them all!
