Program Description

Event Details

Earth Day is a great time to think about your household energy footprint (and your energy bills).

We've invited a variety of providers to show and tell you what they can do to help you improve your energy efficiency, including energy audits, air-sealing, high efficiency furnaces, heat pumps, solar panels, water heaters, clothes dryers, induction stoves, lighting and more.

We'll also have specialists on hand to guide you through all the options for saving money on these upgrades; sometimes a LOT of money.  Community Action's Weatherization program benefits lower income households and may be able to get you some upgrades at NO cost.  Wisconsin's Focus on Energy program has rebates to offer for upgrades large and small and trade ally partners who can get you those rebates up front.  There are tax credits available for many upgrades that can save you even more. Then there's the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) incentives rolling out this year, some of them are even retroactive!  There's a lot of new stuff in the IRA that's worth checking out.

Come and meet all of these providers and experts in our central exhibit space.  This is an open house event so drop in any time between 1 & 4 to see who's here and what they can do for you!

Exhibitors will also be giving individual presentations on their area of expertise in the nearby Riverside Room beginning at 2:00 PM, check out the related event page for details.
