Program Description

Event Details

How much can you save while making your home more comfortable and energy efficient?  Come and find out!  Local providers will tell you about options for insulation, heating/cooling and solar power, energy efficient appliances and more.

Presenters from Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy, Alliant Energy, Energy Services and Community Action’s Weatherization program will cover the wide array of cost savings available for these upgrades.  New home construction, current homeowners and renters can all qualify for tax credits, rebates and income-based funding or heating assistance that can reduce your costs or even make your conservation project free!

As part of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Wisconsin has been allocated $149 million for Home Energy Rebates. Focus on Energy was chosen by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to deliver IRA Home Energy Rebate Programs. Both Home Efficiency Rebates (HOMES) and Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) are NEWLY AVAILABLE (from August 2024). There's SO much in these programs that an overview of the benefits and the opportunity to find out which best fit your needs can help streamline your planning and save you both time and money.

The complete list of presenters participating in this event and the associated exhibit will be updated as the we get closer to the event date, so check back for more details.
