Gardening in Small Spaces: Seed Library Series 4 of 4

Think you don't have space for a garden?  We can help you make the most of whatever space you have, even if it's just a balcony, windowsill, or a small patch of poor soil.

Master Garder Mary Kay Thompson has a nearby black walnut tree making her garden space inhospitable.  She's learned all the tricks for growing not just herbs and flowers, but real food crops in containers.  She'll talk about which plant varieties are best suited to small spaces and how to get the most out of them.

Come join us to benefit from her wisdom and experience, mingle with other garden hobbyists and (optionally) help us get these early start seeds packaged and labeled for May distribution in the library.  Attendees can get answers from experienced gardeners for their specific questions, find more resources and best of all TAKE HOME SEEDS specially selected for small spaces before they're offered to the public.  We'll also have a few special seeds reserved exclusively for program attendees (no spoilers, though). Any seed starting kits still available to give away will go to the first new volunteers.  Please register if you'd like one, otherwise you can register or just drop in whichever you prefer.
