On the morning of Wednesday, January 21, construction crews at Beloit Public Library will be integrating new fire alarm equipment into the building’s system. As part of this process, technicians must confirm that all safety components are functioning properly. During this required testing, fire alarm horns and strobe lights may activate intermittently.
We will be open and providing the usual services, but Preschool Story Time is cancelled. Testing is expected to be complete by 11:30 a.m. We understand this may be disruptive for patrons using the library during the morning hours, and we appreciate your patience.
Our Friends group hosts this great used book sale with basement bargain pricing! The sale is 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Friday, and 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Saturday is bag day with the price of each bag full of books at only $1. Proceeds are returned to the library for special programming and initiatives.
